About Chris Mesrobian

As a Senior Director of Business Development at Monolith Materials, I engage with potential partners to find mutually beneficial opportunities to utilize Monolith’s commercial-scale methane pyrolysis technology to reduce emissions, reduce costs, and enable the energy transition. I joined Monolith Materials in 2015 as a hands-on Engineer creating our core technology. I grew into larger technology leadership roles (Director of Technology) overseeing efforts across lab, pilot and commercial scales before transitioning to Business Development. I leverage my 14+ years of experience in developing fluid-thermal systems from concept to commercial scale to evaluate and communicate the technical and economic benefits of our innovative and low-emissions solution. I have a strong technical background balanced with leadership skills and a strong work ethic. I combine empirical, computational, and first principle approaches to drive technology development. I have a proven ability to succeed in fast-paced startups, having previously worked as a Mechanical Engineer at EtaGen, where I led the design and prototyping of key engine components for distributed power generation. I am passionate about solving challenging problems and creating positive impact with my work.
