I am a seasoned Commercial Manager at ReadyPower Terrawise, the contracting entity part of the ReadyPower Group, where I oversee the entire commercial discipline. With 12 years of extensive experience in the Rail industry, I have held various finance and commercial roles, consistently supporting project delivery teams to achieve optimal commercial outcomes. My career began as an Accountant, but I found myself drawn to commercial based roles. This led me to a career transition in 2018 to roles focused in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management. My journey through these diverse roles has equipped me with a vast understanding of both financial and commercial functions, equipping me with greater skills to effectively drive the commercial success of my projects. My expertise in contract management, cost control, and project finance has been instrumental in delivering successful projects and fostering long-term business growth. I have previously worked for Vital Projects and Babcock Rail within the North Rail Systems Alliance delivering the Plain Line and S&C renewals for Scotland's railway. I recently qualified (2024) with a BSc Quantity Surveying (with Distinction) from Glasgow Caledonian University, and Part Qualified CIMA.
