About Chris Munn

The embodiment of a gentleman and qualities of a natural leader, a native of Buffalo, New York Christopher Ross Munn is destined to make a lasting mark and have a legacy of truth, love and courage. Munn is an alumnus of the prestigious Tuskegee University. With a solid academic record, he is involved and is socially capable. He is still involved in the development of youth in J.R.O.T.C. as he serves as a mentor at his Alma Mater of Western New York Maritime Charter School. Since matriculating to Tuskegee University, Chris has served as a Platoon Commander, Color Guard Commander, Logistics Officer, Training Officer, Company Executive Officer and finally, Company Commander. Munn has just completed a tour as the Electrical Division Officer on USS MAKIN ISLAND (LHD- 8) stationed in San Diego, California after transferring from USS LASSEN (DDG-82). There, he was a integral team player for the Freedom of Navigation efforts in the South China Sea. Since his home port shift, he has been to Singapore, Hawaii, Mexico, Malaysia, Cuba, Panama, Columbia & Jamaica. Munn has completed a knowledge Management tour as a Flag Assistant and has since transferred to the Human Resources Community. Still stationed in Millington, Tennessee, Munn now serves as a Manpower Analyst at the Navy Manpower Analysis Center. he is in tune and gives all honors to God for his accomplishments.
