Chris Nicely, president of ManufacturedHomes.com and ModularHomes.com, a primary source for leveraging factory-built housing in affordable housing programs, nationwide. Previously as CEO of Next Step Homes, Chris teamed with others to assist non-profit and developers in providing high-value, energy-efficient housing to low-income families, and continues this work in urban neighborhoods around the country like San Bernardino, Phoenix, LaGrange, TX, Tampa, Jackson and Detroit. Chris has a broad spectrum of sales and marketing experience within the manufactured housing, building products, marine, and information industries, and an author of the how-to book, “Pillars of Promotion - 6 Ways to Drive Traffic and Sell More”. In 2011, Chris began an active practice as a consultant for companies like Shaw Flooring, Clayton Homes, ARC, Protomet, Southeast Community Owners, and a variety of retailers and community operators throughout the country. As former vice president of marketing for Clayton Homes, Chris leverages his experience and aggregates his knowledge to share what works. Chris coaches others with practical tactics to produce desired RESULTS and recently appointed to an adviisory board on expanding markets for factory-built housing with Systems Building Research Alliance (SBRA). With a background in economics and business management, as well as leadership positions at national companies like Rubbermaid, Bell & Howell, and Berkshire Hathaway, Chris draws upon his base experience in sales, marketing and management to assist others in maximizing results.
