In his role as a CEO for Kinetic GPO, Chris is responsible for building a customer base that focuses on the public sector and MASH entities across Canada. Chris most recently served as the Senior Vice President overseeing Business Development and Marketing for National IPA. As part of a merger, Chris joined National IPA in August 2016. Chris was responsible for building and executing strategic sales plans with the senior leadership of National IPA’s roughly 300 supplier partners. During the time that Chris was in this role, the company saw revenue increase twenty-percent or more annually. Prior to joining National IPA, Chris was a Vice President at a public-sector GPO – The Cooperative Purchasing Network (TCPN). He built the first ever national sales and marketing team for TCPN. He placed a large emphasis on strategy, customer interaction, data analytics, and marketing. With the help of his team, TCPN grew by roughly $900M and surpassed $1.2B in sales volume in just four years. Previously he was a National Sales Director at Office Depot, where he managed over $650M worth of business including the company’s largest customer. Chris held numerous leadership positions that focused on both public and private sector customers. Furthermore, Chris is the founder and president of a non-profit Broken Crayons, which focuses on helping children in the United States and Ghana break through the cycle of poverty. He obtained his undergrad at Baylor University, and an MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Business. He also served on the Board of Directors for Promise House, which is a Dallas based non-profit that embraces homeless, runaway and at-risk youth. Chris was also an original founding board member for NCPP which encourages ethical and compliant purchasing processes within the public sector.
