About Chris Patterson

As a product designer, my process begins with understanding the mind of the user to uncover opportunities for innovation. I survey and interview users, perform extensive market research, rounds of user testing, and end with an intuitive, aesthetically pleasing, and simple design to improve the user's experience. I have worked multiple years in the areas of project management, sales, and coaching, for small and global companies, both well established and startups and have learned that thinking critically to improve the ease at which a customer utilizes a company's products and services is crucial to that company’s growth and success. From small neighborhood businesses to a global powerhouses in 90+ countries, the one thing that I have seen first-hand is how design, whether it be fabulous, so-so, or just downright terrible, can radically transform a users experience, thus enhancing, stagnating, or detracting from the success of that business. Through these experiences, I decided to combine my expertise in consumer experience usability and background in psychology with my love of art and design. I furthered my education by pursuing a UX/UI Design certification in Lisbon, Portugal where I developed my skills in UX Research, design thinking, usability evaluation, visual design, and user-interaction design.
