About Chris Patterson
I've always been one to seek out careers where I can help. From my first job at a local auto parts store, to teaching new students how to communicate more effectively, to empowering my fellow faculty to fight for their collectively bargained rights, I have been called to help people be better. I am motivated by working with colleagues who have a similar calling. I am currently working as an adjunct instructor and a member of the California Faculty Association's Capital Chapter Faculty Rights Co-Chair, and Executive Board. I love to teach and support my fellow faculty, librarians, counselors, and coaches. I am working on building up membership and bettering the internal and external communication for our chapter. Aside from work-life, I enjoy cooking, woodworking, gardening, and repairing things around my house. The rewarding feeling is only paralleled by helping my community, the love of my family, and a damn good meatball recipe!
