I have been a general, OB/GYN and vascular ultrasound technician for over two years. Currently I work at hospitals and clinics around Southern California through staffing services. I speak Spanish and English. In my work, I have performed general abdomen, retroperitoneal, thyroid, scrotal, bladder and prostate scans. Included in the general discipline I have provided ultrasound for paracenteses, thoracenteses and needle aspirations and biopsies. As an obstetric and gynecological technician, I have performed transabdominal and transvaginal scans for pelvic non-gravida studies as well as first, second, third trimester and pre-labor studies in the labor and delivery department. Within vascular ultrasound I have scanned aorta (aneurysm evaluation), carotid, upper extremity arterial, venous and dialysis graft evaluation. I’ve also performed lower extremity arterial and venous, venous reflux and mapping, and pseudoaneurysm evaluations.
