About Chris Pearce

I am a cricket evangelist who in 2015 co-founded the non-profit company Kriketová Akademie ČR. I am passionate about growing cricket in the Czech Republic, with our main aims being- to have a team that learnt the game in the Czech Republic represent us at a World Cup or the Olympics- to ensure that every child in the Czech Republic has an opportunity to play cricket, if they choose to do so. I graduated with honours in an MBA degree specialised in Marketing at the University of New York in Prague. I am an ECB Advanced Cricket Coach (level 3) and an ICC Level 1 Coach Tutor. I currently lead a team of 4 back-office staff and 5-10 coaches dependent on the season. My responsibilities include- overseeing all cricket activities including innovation and expansion of our core grassroots offerings - setting of long-term strategic objectives and developing plans to reach them - budget forecasting and reporting - fundraising - overseeing the management of grant applications, adherance to terms and reporting thereof - overseeing the marketing activities including social media - project management including major events - managing relationships with a variety of stakeholders from local government, national governing body and other strategic partnerships
