About Chris Pearson

Master of Accounting student at Carleton University, with the goal of obtaining a CPA designation. I have accumulated knowledge in accounting concepts through various work experiences including developing annual budget reports, month end reconciliations, accounts payables, accounts receivables, utility and cost allocations in a timely manner. Other work experience includes paying, processing invoices ranging from international companies to foreign exchange, recording journal entries and creating reports. This has given me great insight into the inner workings of our government and the processes necessary to achieve effective representations of our country’s financial statements. I have spent the last three years at Carleton University in the Sprott School of Business with a concentration in Accounting. With successful completion of my undergraduate degree, I will be pursuing the Master of Accounting program at Carleton University. During the time from 2013-2016, I was a part time Carleton University student, based on prerequisites to attend an NCAA college in the United States. In January 2016, I accepted an offer from Morrisville State College to become a member of their NCAA hockey team. Accepted for Business Administration, I made the Dean’s List in both semesters from the 2016-2017 year. With a weighted average GPA of 3.4, it is evident that I have a passion for business. During the years between 2013-2016, I learned a lot about personal training to help individuals reach their fitness goals. Whether that's in weight loss, or athletic ability. I have trained young athletes at the national level of playing competitive sports. Training since I was 12 years old with the owner of Plyomax Fitness center (Simon Adeseko), I have trained with many star athletes from the NHL, NFL, Olympics and have learned many valuable lessons and tips from these high-end athletes.
