Background
About Chris Petty
I am an alumnus of Berklee College of Music ('19) where I majored in Electronic Production & Design with a minor in Effortless Mastery. My studies at Berklee emphasized music technology, music production, synthesis, sound design, and music programming, but I also studied drum-set, percussion, and improvisation extensively with masters like Mark Walker, Kenwood Dennard, Bob Gulloti, Jerry Leake, Ed Saindon, and Kenny Werner. Since 2014 I have been playing drums with professional dance band, No Limits, traveling and performing nationally and internationally in destinations as far as Hawaii, Guatemala, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic. I also produce tracks for the band and manage Ableton Live sets that we use for our live show. I am looking forward to continuing to produce and write for my group Petty Plus as well as my solo electronic project, c_pet. I also aim gain more experience teaching, especially in the areas of electronic production, music technology, drum-set, and percussion.
