About Chris Pflaumer

I am a Program Specialist with the Administration for Children and Families, working with Office of Head Start grant recipients to help families access high-quality child development services. As both a federal employee and as an Associate with Booz Allen Hamilton, I have dedicated my public service career to fighting poverty through early childhood education, access to health services, and effective community engagement. I pride myself on my ability to combine both the technical details of grant administration with a sincere care for the people I work with and the grant recipients I support. Whether analyzing program data or talking through a challenging situation, I have demonstrated an ability to achieve and help others achieve excellent outcomes. In the past I have been a project manager for non-profit and for-profit organizations, providing expertise on service delivery, training, development, and conference management. I enjoy breaking down big-picture ideas into operable functions, and supporting the growth and success of my colleagues via excellent training.
