About Chris Philpott

At San Pasqual, I utilize my trusts and estates background to help the Nevada and California teams administer complex accounts and provide trustee-only services. Prior to my current role at San Pasqual, I spent 5 years in New York City practicing tax and trust and estate law advising charities, and U.S. and international individuals and families on transfer tax and income tax planning, probate, trust and estate administration, and charitable giving strategies. I worked for several prominent regional mid-size and boutique law firms, notably Seward & Kissel LLP and Herrick, Feinstein LLP, as well as an AmLaw 10 law firm, Morgan, Lewis, & Bockius LLP. My legal experience also includes providing pro bono services to U.S. military veterans and indigent cancer survivors. I received my J.D. from Emory Law in 2016 and an LL.M. in Taxation from NYU Law in 2019. I am a former Division 1-A college football player for the University of Louisville where I was a scholarship athlete and graduated cum laude. I am a dual-citizen of the USA and Australia.
