HEADHUNTERS - I am not looking for a job. I appreciate that you have a position that you think I would be a good fit for, but I already have a great job and am overwhelmed by headhunters and the vast majority of the offers I get are a waste of both of our time. Before contacting me, please let me help you: 1. I have no interest in doing contracting work, especially not a 3 month contract. I only entertain direct hire offers. I have been at least 80% WFH since 2018. If I need to commute at all, can I commute to this job in 30 minutes or less, preferably without driving? I am not relocating within the US, but could be open to the right international opportunity. There's a reason why you can't find any candidates willing to relocate to the middle of nowhere for a $50k salary - writing that the position is "urgent" doesn't help either! I have been spoiled with many years of primarily WFH - are you prepared to match that? My experience is leading teams and building software. I am currently part of the leadership of a technology organization in a Fortune 500 company. What teams would be under me? I like my job, so I have no interest in a lateral move unless you want to bolster it with a large pay increase - you have to offer me a position that's a step up. My real summary: Experienced leader with primary experience leading software development organizations. I have lead and contributed to the design, building, management, integration, maintenance, and support of software products in the financial and physical security industries. Today, I lead the customer-facing software development for the Corporate Payments line of business at WEX, Inc, a Fortune 500 financial institution. I am also an adjunct instructor, teaching CS graduate students a Georgia Tech how to analyze software for correctness.
