Opening Statement My career in the oil industry started in 2005. This business line showed me how working without safety conscious personnel can be dangerous to everyone involved. With 6 years of well head experience, I am capable of locating defective equipment and at-risk behaviors with a single glance. Background 2005 to 2008, Nabors Well Service in Bakersfield California. I hired on as a trainee and work my way into an operator position. During my employment I have worked on production, fracing, snubbing tubing, fishing and abandonments. 2008 to 2010, Excalibur Drilling in Bakersfield California. I hired on as a trainee to become a well rounded Oil Field employee. During my experience at this company, I have worked my way up to derrick hand. 2010 to 2013, Ensign Well Services I was hired on as an Operator of a well servicing/ workover rig. My responsibilities where to guide my crew through our job steps and ensure that the customer and my supervisor was happy with the efficiency and the amount of safety and caring that I showed during our job. Relevant Skills Process improvement/customer relations I work closely with our business partner to develop and maintain a Total Safety Culture, to improve customer relations, to set goals. Intervention/compliance Our work sites are where I use my interpersonal skills and reduce at-risk behaviors by actively caring. I utilize tail-gate and take two meetings to share concerns and requirements. Management/Leadership Ability to follow job plans for the desired outcome. Lead personnel in the direction require.
