About Chris Rezentes

I have over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications and technology industry.In my current role at Lumen as Director of APAC Adaptive Network Practice, I lead the regional product strategy, P&L, and the roadmap for Lumen's Adaptive Networking Products including IP, MPLS, Ethernet, Wave, SDN, NFV, SASE, and Cloud Connect solutions. In addition, I lead the vendor management and network quoting platform teams in the APAC region supporting vendor contracting, rate negotiations, product reviews, and on-boarding. I have lead the launch of numerous regional product offerings including: multiple flavors of SD WAN across APAC markets and cloud connect services with 4 of the major hyperscalers. In my role, I am responsible for the product P&L, product development, business case creation, and driving the roll out of significant investments across the network product pillar supporting our global enterprise customers. My regional team also spearheads the partner and product evaluation for 3rd party providers and alliance partners across APAC region.Prior to joining Lumen, I was the Regional Manager at Verizon and held numerous roles including Network Planning, Carrier Management, and Product & Partner Strategy. During this period, I led a team instrumental in the planning and implementation of new MPLS / IP hubs across APAC region. I also oversaw the strategy and expansion of Verizon's fiber network in Singapore which doubled in size under my tenure and I led teams developing new and existing products including Verizon's Secure Cloud Interconnect offering.Before moving to Singapore, I was based in the United States where I was responsible for the Asia Pacific Mesh design and architecture team for Verizon. In this role, I spearheaded the commercial negotiation and technical design supporting implementation of the Verizon global mesh backbone network.I hold a bachelors degree in Communications Systems Management from Ohio University.
