About Chris Roller

I'm currently looking for a role that allows me to develop skills in operations management and continuous improvement in human services. I have six years of experience in homeless services-four on the frontline in Portland-and two and a half years of management experience in a Fortune 50 company's intensive operations management culture. Throughout my time in human services, I consistently worked beyond my role requirements to provide and improve service excellence to the broad array of customers-clients, donors, the public, and my team, often self-teaching skills like Python, Power Automate, and Microsoft Bookings to improve overall organizational capacity for service. I am currently working towards an education in data science to improve frontline social services. Besides hard skills in analysis and business management, Portland State University's data science for business program equips students with big picture outlooks about ethical and ESG impacts of business, leadership and self-leadership skills, and opportunities to work collaboratively.
