Chris is the operating executive for Avlaki, LLC providing advisor and consulting services to scale technology companies. Chris was president & chief operating officer at Enservio scaling this private insurtech with technology, systems, processes, talent and achieving the exit to Solera. Following the acquisition of Enservio, Chris joined Solera as chief of staff, operations and drove key initiatives across business units for this global software and data company. Previously, Chris was an executive vice president for a decade at Akamai, the global leader and innovator for Internet content delivery networks. At Akamai, Chris led the cloud-based products and services, the global technology platform, company operations, and multiple acquisitions/integrations. During this period, Akamai grew annual revenue from $160 million to $1 billion and generated $1.2 billion in cash from operations. Chris was also president of broadband access at Lucent, running the business unit P&L with $600 million revenue and 700 employees worldwide. Chris has held general manager positions at AT & T, Novell, and Unix System Laboratories, including expatriate roles in Europe and Asia Pacific. He began his career as a programmer at NCR. Chris holds an M.S. and B.S. in mathematics and computer science from Emory University and was a Bobby Jones scholar at the University of St. Andrews. He served on the board of trustees for the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council.
