About Chris Schopp

As a simulation consultant at SimWell, I leverage my industrial engineering background and data skills to build data pipelines and simulation models that help clients optimize their production processes and performance. I use Kedro, a Python framework, to create modular and scalable data pipelines that process IoT and simulation data, allowing for direct comparison of new production scheduling policies. I also pursue a master's degree in analytics at Georgia Tech, where I learn advanced techniques and tools for data analysis, machine learning, and optimization. I apply these skills to improve existing solutions and develop new ones for SimWell and its customers. For example, I overhauled a customer wait time predictive model created by another developer, drastically improving code quality and execution time. I also implemented DevOps best practices like CI/CD and Docker environments for development and testing.
