About Chris Schuster

A distinguished senior level Information Technology Manager with over 25 years of experience in Federal Government and Civilian IT Enterprise Operations, Business Development and Capture, Program Management, Project Management and Project Engineering. Chris has expertise in managing large scale P&L programs within Information Systems, Telecommunications, and customer service environments. He has proven experience managing hundreds of employees and subcontractors on the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Department of Veterans Affairs, Federal Aviation Administration, Navy, and Army programs. Chris has successfully captured, and/or managed, the following Federal IDIQ’s or BPA’s: NRC GLINDA ($679m ceiling), Air Force Netcents ($9.9b ceiling), Air Force Netcents 2 ($6.9b ceiling), Army ITES ($5b ceiling), Civil/Intel ECS ($6b ceiling), Civilian Connections II ($5b ceiling), and VA T4 ($10b ceiling), growing their base by winning and successfully executing hundreds of millions of dollars in task orders on these vehicles. In Chris’ role as a program manager, he successfully supported the customer to achieve their mission objectives on the following programs: · Directly responsible as the Senior Program Manager for the transition, performance, and management of five NRC programs on the GLINDA Blanket Purchase Agreement. Led TekSynap to be the largest awardee by both tasks and cumulative orders on the BPA. · Managed a $150m three-year contract with the Department of Veterans Affairs to design, implement and test wireless networks in active VA hospitals. Managed the bidding, award, and execution of Veterans Guest Internet Access solutions at VA Medical Center locations. · Managed 157 Enterprise tier three and tier four engineers over 15 teams to support the Army Corps of Engineers contract for users. · Principal leader who was responsible for the development and coordination with the Navy customer in support of the program’s strategy, engineering on initiatives for the following target areas: Cloud; JIE/JRSS; Tech Refresh; Unified Capabilities; Data Center Consolidation; and Mobility for the NMCI network. · Managed $93M annual P&L delivering products and services to the federal government through NETCENTS (AF), ECS (Civil / Intel), ITES-2S (Army), and Connections II (Civil) IDIQ contracts. Chris has an MBA in Information Technology, a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Sciences, received and his PMI PMP in 2011, and his ITIL v3 certification in 2010 and v4 in 2023.
