Im a full time teacher in a Sixth Form College and a full time dad to my 2 boys! I am a former Physical Training Instructor in the Prison Service. During my spell in the Prison Service, I had a spell in charge of Young Offenders Physical Education. I Teache Public Services and Sport. I am also a former soldier in the Territorial Army and I have served as a Special Constable with Merseyside Police. I have a keen interest in sport especially football. Until recently I was a football referee and refereed in the Cheshire League, Stockport Metro League and the Stockport and District Sunday League. Due to injury I was forced to retire from refereeing and decided to further my fitness & coaching career. I have coached football from under 6s to open age. I specialise in fitness training and goalkeepers. I believe that football can teach young people a number of things including discipline, sportsmanship, honour, respect and of course fitness I hold qualifications in Football Coaching, Goalkeeper coaching, Sports conditioning, Outdoor fitness, Gym Instruction, Expedition Leadership, Safeguarding children, First Aid and teaching. I also hold an up to date CRB and I am FA licensed coach.
