About Chris Silali

My work has contributed to Agricultural business development, Value chain development and building new markets for over eight years. Over the period I have worked with over four very successful private and donor-funded investments playing an integral role that determines major outcomes and successes. My work experience traverses the entire business landscape from ASAL regions to very agricultural wetlands. I have worked as a Dairy consultant for EADD Program Kenya. Focus and diligence remain to be my key driving force. My previous work at KMT as a Sector-Lead was both challenging and rewarding especially when faced with a complex market with enormous potential. It feels great to champion key change innovations and models that ties into the Country's long term vision. Day to Day I learn on how to leverage simple innovative ideas to build a robust surge towards tilting the sector into full commercial enterprises. I am the Founder and CEO at GenePlus Global Ltd. In GenePlus we focus on Dairy genetics, Agricultural input supplies, Enhancing on-farm best practices, Introduction of sustainable agricultural technologies and Provision of customized consultancy in Agribusiness. Geneplus maintains fully staffed teams that facilitate the distribution of dairy genetics throughout Kenya. GenePlus uses a rational economically viable best practices that support appropriate roles of the public and private sectors in the dairy sector, we facilitate the commercial provision of dairy-related business services and advocates for policy, regulatory and legal reforms that heighten performance in the sector. We also have extensive experience in providing training and animal nutrition support services in Kenya and East Africa. I enjoy my job.
