I’m a seasoned leader and passionate about presenting a positive influence on team members, particularly during times of change or turmoil. My goal is making others better informed, better prepared, and all around better than they were the day before. “Great leaders don’t set out to be a leader. They set out to make the difference. It is never about the role – always about the goal” – Lisa Haisha If you asked people on my teams about my leadership style, they would say I was honest, trustworthy, and one to include others in decision making. My people would tell you I’m collaborative and support them in their work, removing road blocks and helping them win. I work hard to be a leader who listens to learn about my team’s needs within the business but also their wants, trials and triumphs in their personal lives. As a critical thinker, when a problem arises, I take the time necessary to work with others to fully understand the contributing factors and address the root cause of our problem. In my personal life, I am proud of my efforts to support others in creative ways. A passionate pursuit has been in support of the Salvation Army’s “Toy Mountain” over the past five years. What began as my own individual donation, erupted in 2017 when I asked others if they wanted to join me and, together, we donated over 1700 toys that year. In 2018 we set our goal higher at toys. We crushed it, convincing over 60 individuals and businesses to donate toys and time helping us deliver over toys to kids in need. Since then, with 2019 & 2020 we’ve reached a total of 24,374 toys donated to Toy Mountain and we’ll start the drive for for 2021 soon.
