About Chris Steven

I have been in practice since 1974 and have lived and worked in Wanaka since 1986. I have accumulated a wealth of experience in general practice and, particularly, in local property, business and planning issues. My single focus is helping my wide range of clients identify their needs in any given circumstance and then applying my skill and experience in satisfying those needs. I am not an adversarial or confrontational lawyer. I focus on problem solving in the best interests of my clients. I foster a friendly, relaxed and communicative environment within the office and towards anyone with whom I deal on my clients' behalf. Wanaka Law offers assistance in all areas listed as specialties. I have a special interest in dispute resolution - particularly by mediation - involving property issues, building disputes, employment, trusts, relationship property and resource management.
