About Chris Stevens

With 20+ years of experience in IT infrastructure design, implementation, and support, I’ve built, broken, and rebuilt just about every flavor of system architecture you can imagine. From data centers and cloud deployments to complex enterprise rollouts, I bring a deep bench of knowledge in systems engineering, process optimization, and operational excellence. Currently, I serve as a Post Sales Systems Engineer and Strategic Product Success Engineer at Axon, where I support our Customer Success Management (CSM) team as a go-to technical resource. I specialize in bridging the gap between support and engineering — tackling Tier 4 escalations, untangling gnarly provisioning issues, and ensuring customers not only get answers, but understand the root cause and resolution. I’m a technical translator, customer advocate, and fixer of all things “what the heck just happened?” My role spans infrastructure troubleshooting, platform integrations, and hands-on problem-solving across Axon’s product ecosystem. If it touches identity, backend architecture, or a complex workflow chain, there’s a good chance I’m involved — and making sure the solution sticks. Whether working with cloud deployments, SCIM provisioning quirks, or training internal teams, I bring clarity, calm, and a little humor to the chaos. I'm passionate about making systems work and making sense to the people who rely on them.
