About Chris Strat

The safety and welfare of people is something I am extremely passionate about. I am dedicated and committed to ensuring that safety works at all business levels. I have 24 years’ experience in the building, construction and electrical industries with the most recent 14 years in leading safety and consultancy roles. I am a people person first & foremost and believe in honest, respectful dialogue and communicating with people professionally. I am ever the optimist, enthusiastic and diligent in whatever role I am given, working self-directed and independently or within a team environment. My employment history is made up of hard work and reliability, inherent to any job prospect. I believe that I excel in consultative situations that require a balance of tact and diplomacy coupled with honesty and integrity in order to achieve the desired outcome. I enjoy meeting new challenges and having autonomy to develop or implement systems that can not only drive the business forward in the integrated pillars of safety, quality and environmental management, but future proof the business through sustained improvement in these key areas. I intend to ensure an organisation conforms and complies with regulatory and legislative requirements
