About Chris Sumrall

I am an Systems Engineer with 18+ years experience. I have extensive experience with administering large networks / server environments. I started from the bottom as a technician many years ago and worked my way to become a Senior Systems Administrator. I am well versed in Active Directory, Exchange environments, SQL Report writing, Visual Basic Programming, and small to large Network Environments. As a Senior Systems Administrator I wrote Smitty's Supply's first Electronic Document Library built upon Visual Basic with a SQL Backend. I helped grow their network from a single server, single vlan to a multiple Virtual Server Farm with 2 Data Racks, multi-vlan network utilizing Cisco Switches and Wireless Controllers. I believe in training as I work to help others not only grow their knowledge but achieve their maximum potential. I believe in a "work smarter not harder model", there is no sense in re-inventing the wheel if I can do the same job in a more efficient manner.
