Distinguished 35-plus year professional career providing business, strategic and legal advice to talented leaders of successful organizations, primarily at the intersection of business, law, government, politics, and communications. Currently Senior Counsel at Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP, focusing on complex securities litigation and advising the firm’s institutional investor clients. Formerly Deputy Executive Director and General Counsel for a decade at MassPRIM, one of the largest and most admired investment funds in the nation, responsible for investing and protecting the retirement assets of approximately beneficiaries; also Chair of the Securities Litigation Committee of the National Association of Public Pension Attorneys. Built and maintained a successful private practice of law and government relations in the decade prior to that, after a decade in public service as a federal prosecutor and as a top senior legal and policy adviser and manager for two Massachusetts Governors. Served two 5-year terms on the 5-member Board of the BRA (now called BPDA), the City of Boston’s top economic development and real estate planning/permitting agency. Active for the past 20 years in pro bono disability advocacy.
