Chris Swenson, MA, CBIS (Certified Brain Injury Specialist) is a subject matter expert (SME) in traumatic brain injury (TBI) and psychological health conditions with over 10 years’ experience working directly with civilian and military populations. He is an experienced Program/Project Manager supporting multiple organizations within the Military Health System (MHS) supporting the development of policy, programs and best practices for clinical standards of care for Service members and Veterans with TBI, psychological health, suicide prevention needs, PTSD, visual dysfunction and substance use conditions. This consists of, but is not limited, management of multidisciplinary teams and directly leading efforts for the development of policies, conducting literature reviews, environmental scans, planning and facilitation of expert workgroups/ conferences, development of trainings/webinars within the MHS, development of clinical support tools for patients and healthcare providers.
