Additional key areas of focus include brand (look, sound, think, perform), FORTUNE 100 CEO and senior executive counsel and support, branded content/corporate storytelling strategy and programs, corporate strategy, corporate annual reports, media and influencer engagement, risk and reputation management, team inspiration and growth, relationship building and high EQ which enables a special ability to connect dots, speed decision-making and cut through clutter. Served as Chief Communications Officer for USAA and head of CEO Communications. Previously led USAA’s corporate communications, brand, communications strategy and content teams. Activated and govern USAA’s brand and direct communication strategy, content, counsel and messaging. Also led USAA's external communications team, which included reputation management, consumer, sponsorship and military media relations, social media, public affairs leadership and advocacy initiatives. Prior to USAA worked for 13 years at FleishmanHillard (served as General Manager of three FH offices: Houston, Austin and San Antonio) and started out in aerospace communication at Lockheed-Martin following four PR internships during college.
