About Chris Tan

An IT professional with over four years of work experience in various industries such as education, research, and finance. I began my career as a web developer and gained extensive knowledge in programming languages, frameworks, design patterns, source control, databases, and other related areas. Furthermore, I also learned some basics of networking concepts that helped me troubleshoot applications. With my experience and awareness of everything, I can explore all related products without involving other projects and still have deep product knowledge. This is one of my abilities where I feel I can be a product expert, knowing the capabilities, limitations, and even the technical things such as infrastructure, code, and database structure of the product I handle. Currently, two things interest me the most, data and product management. I enjoy querying and preprocessing data before utilizing it for analytical purposes. Furthermore, data can also be used to define the strategy to improve the product’s quality.
