About Chris Tarling

I lead EY's Complex Securities valuation practice in Western Canada. Together with my excellent team we assist our clients with the valuation of various derivative financial instruments for financial reporting, tax and corporate transaction purposes. Our scope of expertise includes various swaps (interest rate, currency), compensation awards (ESOPs, PSUs, MIPs), warrants, futures/forwards, convertible debt and contingent consideration. We focus on delivering exceptional client service through leveraging our knowledge and experience combined with our ability to present and explain complicated analyses and outcomes in an easy to understand manner. Our Clients include large and small public companies, mid-market private companies and the government sector. We service a wide range of industry sectors including energy and utilities, financial institutions and wealth management, manufacturing and retail, and technology and innovation.
