About Chris Thorpe

As the Head of Blooq at Harlequin Design, I lead a team of digital specialists who create innovative, user-centric digital solutions for some of the world's biggest brands. Our services cover various disciplines, including progressive web applications, interactive displays, dynamic content creation, AR/VR, social media filters and 360-degree virtual experiences.In addition to client-facing work, we design, develop, and maintain integral systems to help Harlequin operate more effectively. The aptly named HOST suite covers all aspects of the production pipeline, including sales, project management, finances, client relationships, and installations. I have over 17 years of experience in the industry and developed my skills from a traditional design background, into UX/UI and service design before establishing myself as a creative tech lead.My passion for tech and design is unwavering and I am always on top of the latest design, management, and AI tools so I can better approach, deliver, and manage complex projects. However, you are only as good as the people around you, and I'm a big believer that you don't hire talented, intelligent people to tell them what to do. Instead, if you can inspire and guide them, collectively, you can create great things.
