About Chris van Staden

I am a provisionally registered psychologist currently working at Unify Health whilst in the final stages of my Master of Clinical Psychology with the University of Southern Queensland. I have experience using CBT, ACT, IPT, Schema, and EMDR as evidence-based interventions across the lifespan for a a range of presentations, such as: for individuals and families across the lifespan with a range of presentations This includes intervention for- Complex and single incident trauma (including to first-responder/military personnel)- Anxiety disorders - Mood disorders - Neurodevelopmental disorders (particularly ASD and ADHD)- Grief and loss - Relationship concerns - Personality disorders My overarching approach the therapy, however, is respect and dignity for my clients. It is my aim to treat every client as a person, not a set of diagnoses or symptoms.
