About Chris Vaughan

With over 10 years of experience in the tech and e-commerce, I am a passionate and versatile Analytics & Data Product Owner at Dyson, where I work with stakeholders to develop and deliver innovative data products and solutions. I have a strong background in analytics, hardware, and software, as well as credentials in Google Data Analytics, Tableau, and Scrum. I am motivated by Dyson's mission to solve the problems others ignore and to challenge the status quo with creativity and engineering excellence. I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, having worked in different domains, such as Apple Maps and Music, and having a degree in Music Performance.In my current role, I manage a portfolio of vendors, in tandem with the inbound funnel of work, engaging with solutions and delivery teams to determine the right routes for work. I guide the Analytics Systems team members to build prototypes and PoCs, and lead workstreams and support analysts in delivering use cases. I also build and maintain roadmaps and forecasts to provide shared visibility of planning and development. I leverage my skills in data analytics, Tableau, and hardware to create dynamic visualizations and recommendations that inform business decisions and strategies. Previously, I was a Lead Genius at Apple, where I led a team of iOS and Mac technicians and developed strategies to drive human connection, customer satisfaction, and timely repair. I also worked as an Apple Maps L&D Data Analyst, where I defined business problems, prepared and processed Kirkpatrick level data, and supported with User Acceptance Testing and rolling out of a new learning management system.
