About Chris Waldron

As an event/sales assistant at Linganore Winecellars, I apply my interpersonal communication, critical thinking, and academic writing skills to coordinate and promote various events and activities for the winery. I have a BA in political science and a minor in environmental science from Gettysburg College, where I developed a passion for social and environmental issues. Before joining Linganore Winecellars, I worked as a marketing/events and membership manager at Catoctin Breeze Vineyard, where I managed the inventory, the website, the social media, and the membership program. I also have experience as an inventory manager at the same vineyard, where I handled the ordering, receiving, and tracking of wine and merchandise. I have over three years of experience in the wine industry, and I enjoy creating memorable experiences for customers and guests. My core competencies include event planning, marketing, customer service, and inventory management. I am always eager to learn new skills and expand my knowledge of the wine industry. My goal is to contribute to the success and growth of Linganore Winecellars and the local wine community.
