About Chris Weber

With over 20 years of experience as a music educator, composer, brass musician, and audio technician, I am passionate about delivering high-quality music education that nurtures students' talents, creativity, and confidence. As the Music Coordinator at Cardijn College, I oversee all aspects of the co-curricular music program, ensuring its success and sustainability. In addition to managing the program's operations, I also teach Certificate II, and IV in Music Industry (Sound Production), leveraging my expertise in audio engineering and sound production to equip students with essential skills in the field. Furthermore, I have been instrumental in expanding the band program at both the Noarlunga and Aldinga campuses, providing diverse opportunities for students to perform and excel. As a composer, I have also written commissioned set pieces for statewide school band competitions, demonstrating my deep understanding of student players' capabilities and limitations. My mission is to drive innovation and excellence in music education, and to inspire and empower the next generation of musicians in Adelaide, South Australia.
