About Chris Whyte

I have now returned to New Zealand after 10 years working in the UK, and 12 years in Cape Town. While not at work, my focus is on the other important things in my life, my family and my dogs. I enjoy playing squash, watching rugby and cricket, spending time in the garden (the vege's are looking great right now), hiking and camping with the family. I am passionate about the environment, animal welfare, children and education. I spend a significant amount of my remaining time volunteering for a number of community groups and try to be as active local resident as possible.Coming from a tertiary education based around Information Science has given me a solid grounding in both the technical and business side of my work life, which has now been enhanced with my years of experience in a number of key sectors.I believe strongly that Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is a business strategy, and the various platforms out there called CRM are simply tools with which to implement that strategy. My interest in really understanding a clients business, my focus on solution design and my technical skills, put my in a unique position to deliver innovative solutions that often exceed clients expectations, in terms of a simple and efficient solution for end users, that also delivers the business benefit and drives the business forward in line with the businesses CRM strategy.
