About Chris Widdowson

I am a Client Relationships Manager at Progeny Wealth and work as part of the Advisory Services Team across the four regions of our UK Business. As part of this role I act as the main point of contact for all new enquiries to the UK business carrying out initial high level qualifying conversations before allocating them to the most suitable part of the business where appropriate. I also oversee and manage client disengagements for the group reporting directly in to the UK MD and I work closely with the Head of Advisory Services on various client led projects and initiatives where required. My main passion has always been ongoing client contact, with a key strength being the ability to build and nurture long term relationships and deliver fantastic outcomes for the clients that I work with. I am an excellent communicator who likes to take the lead and get things done in a well planned organised way as efficiently as possible always keeping the client at the centre of everything I do at all times. I am level 4 Qualified with a Diploma in Personal Finance and I also hold Investment Advice Certificates 1,2 and 3 through the Securities Institute and the CII Certificate in Discretionary Investment Management along with standalone qualification in Securities and Dealing. In addition to this I also hold the JO7 qualification, Supervision in a Regulated Environment. In summary I have over 36 years experience of working in Financial Services across a wide variety of roles and as a result have a broad skill set to draw on for every new challenge that I take on, making me a key part of any team that I work in.
