I have worn many hats over my career history, and enjoy wearing many of those hats simultaneously to achieve great results for individuals & organisations. I am highly organised, well-connected, & multi-skilled with excellent problem solving skills, allowing me to provide services to clients specifically tailored to their needs & budgets. I enjoy utilising the broad range of skills I have acquired - including design, project management, styling & event management, strategy, recruitment & people management, branding & marketing, acting, directing, & producing. Essentially, everything I have always done was about helping people. Having recently completed a 6-month contract working as PA to an A-lister couple whilst they were living & working in Sydney, & over 6 years as COO for a boutique consulting firm, I am excited to go back to freelancing. I worked as COO for Rickshaw Enterprises for over 6 years, a boutique consultancy firm engaged across a diverse range of projects including Food & Beverage, Agribusiness, Recruitment, Manufacturing, Hospitality, Wholesale & Retail. I worked across a range of areas including branding & marketing, design, styling & event management, strategy, recruitment & people management. In the arts & design industry, I have worked as actor, director, & producer. I was the first employee at Darlinghurst Theatre Company & worked for many years in Arts Admin, Producing, Directing, Artist Management, teaching & more. I have run my own business working on residential & commercial properties as designer, stylist & project manager and in the film/advertising industry, corporate events & weddings since 2004. At Mulga Gidgee, I was manager, mentor and trainer in various capacities within indigenous employment programs in the corporate, government & community sectors for 8 years. Primarily, I managed the award-winning Energy Industry Indigenous Pre-Apprenticeship Program. I trained organisations in effective workplace mentoring, was guest speaker at events such as Ausgrid's Reconciliation Day. Through my mentoring relationships with all of the hardworking Aboriginal apprentices I learned much about First Nations culture, and for that I am deeply grateful. I worked in the community services sector for almost 8 years, working in service in my local community developing & running programs, advocating & supporting individuals with legal issues, AOD, mental health, housing, & living skills. I developed partnerships with local government, businesses & individuals to create a community that worked together to support those in need.
