About Christa Brooks

I grew up in the Bay Area, California. I was raised by my father and mother along side my two sisters in Marin. We received our education at Bacich, Kent and Redwood schools. In 2013 I moved to Boise, Idaho to further my education at Boise State University and in 2020 received my Bachelor of Science in Sociology. During my time at University, I gained experience and knowledge through volunteer work done with Morley Nelson, in the program Girl Scout Silver Sage Council and also through my internship as a teaching assistant at Boise State University. I have experience in leading, facilitating youth development curriculum, organizing activities and discussion groups, leading exam reviews through office hours to answer student questions and teaching both traditional and internet based. As a creative optimist, I strive to bring out the best in people by listening to understand, not to reply. I have a passion for working with people from all walks of life and seek to accomplish any task given to me with the utmost care.
