I provide financial, record keeping, customer service and administrative services with the daily operations of managing an Affordable Senior Housing Property financed by the Department of Housing and Urban Development. I am the first public point of contact for the building I manage. Providing tours, qualifying applicants and conducting lease renewals is just a small part of managing a property. Currently, I provide supervision to 4 employees and have trained and mentored several certification specialists who have moved on to become Housing Managers in the field. I am detail oriented, perform general accounting and financial information to Ebenezer's Accounting Department. I create, track and post invoice payments. I have significant experience with financial audits by providing information necessary for auditors and have created and maintained HUD budgets. I conduct annual inspections of each unit and provide work orders for items requiring repairs or replacement. I have experience in obtaining bids for roof, elevator, property maintenance projects and supervise the work to completion. I have created and shared several policies and practices with my coworkers to make their workplace easier. I prepare, distribute and archive board minutes for Wildwood Manors' quarterly board meetings and I am proficient in Microsoft applications. I have also created marketing material and a web page for applicants, residents and their families.
