About Christa Held
Diverse experiences in education and non-profit management, I have worked in all levels of education over the past 25 years. Initially serving in Student Affairs area/higher education, I've also worked in community-based mental health and education services before returning to CISLV as Community School Coordinator at the largest urban elementary school in our region for 2 years before being promoted to Program Manager for CISLV (now CISEP). As Program Manager, I led a team of 12 site-based staff within BASD. In June 2020, I took leadership of development activities for Peaceful Living. Behind the scenes, I dream of writing and listening to my call as a missionary. Most recently, I've traveled to Belize with a team but see my local community as an immediate mission field. Serving those in need in our community through leadership, systems development, and coaching brings me energy and challenges. I welcome them both!
