About Christa Romaldi

I am an adventurous and energetic person, with a love of the outdoors, reading and traveling. I have been to Australia, Southeast Asia, Africa and have extensively traveled North America; in many of these contexts I was working with children and youth. In fact, I have been working with children and youth for over 15 years: designing, implementing and supervising programs in various capacities and with diverse populations. I have directed my energy towards improving the well-being of children and youth, focusing my masters thesis on education in developing countries, completing additional courses on various aspects of programming and child-youth welfare, and consistently volunteering my time and working to promote the quality of life for children and youth domestically and abroad. I enjoy working in team settings, and have done so successfully as a brand ambassador, program coordinator, board member, and intern, but I also work well on my own. As a volunteer speaker, campaign officer and communications officer, I was the sole employee on the project. In these roles, I demonstrated self-motivation, excellent time management skills, and an ability to balance a number of different tasks to meet goals and targets. My goal is to continue to work for the well-being of children and youth, whether that be in a nonprofit, public or private sector role. I thrive on challenges, and hope to continue learning, growing and developing new skills in a management role. I am a leader and problem solver and would like to put these attributes to use in an exciting and meaningful position.
