About Christa Slaughter

I am a results focused management professional with 25+ years of progressive leadership and training experience in the customer service field. I have a great track record of successful job performance, exceptional problem solving and I have experience developing and leading various types of training programs. My work experience that got me where I am today varies greatly. I started at the bottom of the heap as a call center agent and worked my way up to management. Along the way I’ve acted as a training manager where I developed modules for everything and anything that would improve the customer experience and educate and improve the confidence of the agents. I presented and developed product training modules so the agents were knowledgeable about what they were offering to our customers. I also managed a monitoring team and oversaw coaching sessions where struggling agents were given extensive help to succeed. Consulting was the latest thing that I added to my resume. In late 2013 I decided that it was time for a change so I left a job of 20+ years for something new. Not the easiest decision ever but I can say now that it has been one of the best decisions of my life. I offered up my services as an independent customer service consultant to help new or struggling service centers develop their teams. This was a great learning experience. I live on a small farm in northern Orange County. I have 4 kids, full disclosure, they are goats not real kids. I have a small hobby farm with aforementioned goats, chickens, beehives, fruit trees, a garden and a very protective miniature donkey who thinks he's a Clydesdale. I love to travel anywhere, love to visit small local craft breweries and I love talking to people. I believe that fall is the best time of the year by far and I firmly believe that a positive attitude and strong work ethic will take you everywhere you need to go.
