About Christi Bertelsen
My personal work uses animation, video, humor and warmth, and music to explore being human, Native, female, queer, and an artist. My award-winning films have screened in several countries, aired on PBS, and been featured at the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian. I use a variety of techniques and mediums: digital art, photography, spray paint, cut-outs, toys, etc. Playfulness and experimentation. I’m also deeply excited about music-related projects, pixels, crayons, paper, and all not-so-commercial-looking commercial stuff.
