The CNL role is a master's prepared advanced generalist designed to create nurse leaders who focus on minimizing fragmentation through transformational leadership, innovation, and lateral integration of care within any micro, meso, or macrosystem. The Certified Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) role seeks to mitigate silo thinking by bridging gaps of both system and workforce towards a seamless transition and more collaborative model of quality person-centered care across the health continuum.Evidence-based research supports the many rewards of incorporating the CNL into your organization.
