About Christi Sayres

With 10 years of work experience in human resources and management, I am a passionate and dedicated leader in the field of education. As the Human Resources Director at Aberdeen School District, I oversee the recruitment, hiring, evaluation, and retention of more than 500 staff members, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws and regulations. I also manage labor relations functions, and provide guidance and support to the superintendent and the school board on human resources matters. In addition, I have completed the Washington State School Personnel, Human Resources in Education Leadership program, which enhanced my skills and knowledge in strategic planning, data analysis, communication, and collaboration. I am proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, and I use them to create and maintain various reports, documents, and spreadsheets.
