About Christian Booth

I am currently enrolled at Fordland High School (Class of 2024) and also enrolled in the Greater Ozarks Centers for Advanced Professional Studies (GO CAPS) Engineering and Manufacturing program. I am looking to further my education in Agriculture Engineering. Hard work and determination is something that I have learned through the small town community I live in, my parents, and FFA. As an active member in FFA I have really learned a lot about team work and trying new things. I have the understanding that when things need to get done sometimes you have to do things you don't like and you have do things you don't want to do. I am a team player and know how to handle things in a professional manner if conflict arises. These skills helped me whenever my FFA Forestry team made it to state. I had to learn multiple new things such as identifying 50 different tree species, identifying pests and disorders that affect trees, and measuring trees with a 31.5 inch stick, and learning different facts to take a test. I personally placed 9th out of 170 participants and my team placed 5th out of 44. I also learned many interviews skills and am more prepared for the work force hiring process due to the Employment Skills contest for FFA. I placed 6th in the state for that! I also rodeo on the weekends when I'm not working! I appreciate all your time in reading this- Christian H. Booth
