About Christian Jackson
I have been the Section Chief of Gastroenterology for the VA Loma Linda Healthcare System for over 14 1/2 years. The section is currently affiliated with two fellowship programs, Loma Linda University and University California Riverside. During this time, I have grown the section from 2.75 full time physicians to 11 physicians. The section now has the ability to provide pancreatobiliary services (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography endoscopic ultrasound), small bowel services ( video capsule endoscopy and deep enteroscopy) and a motility program. We have are also developed a Women’s GI program.We are active in research studies which are focus on local data as well as participating in multi-center trials. We have relationships and published studied with collaborators from other universities within the United States and Europe. Our fellows as well and residents and medical students actively participate research.
